Kraig,
I still haven’t ever had a drink of a 10 star bourbon, but this comes the closest. It was very cringe-worthy to shell out as much I did, but I know I’m never going find it locally. It’s worth every penny, except that I will sip it slowly and make it last. Great long finish, strong taste of vanilla, at least to me, and leather. The oak balance is just right. I was brought into the Blanton’s cult early, but I like Antique 107 a lot more.
Kevin,
A true unicorn
Julius,
Full bodied and sweet for the 53.5 abv. A real treat if you can find it, a little smoke and very nice cherry and vanilla notes. Neat or one cube. Highly recommended!
Paul,
Best bourbon I have tasted yet. Wish it was less expensive.
guest,
The best bourbon I’ve had to date. Nuff’ said.
Andy,
Great taste, smooth, it should be under a 100
Neal,
I love wheats, and this one spendid. The ABV hits harder than you expect @ 107 proof, but the wheaty butter and honey comes in quickly and lingers througout.
Jackson,
Amazing
elijah,
Sweet caramel.
Ara,
Like a mild red hot candy. Just love this Bourbon!
Chad,
My favorite so far
Randall,
A nice Weller indeed. Great flavor. The price was steep, but its not been found in my neck of the woods (or at least I missed it:)
Brian,
Boy, do I feel like an idiot buying this from Flaviar. I paid over $150 plus tax for this bottle only to find it for $80 at my local liquor store. Buyer beware of huge markups with these guys. I paid Also paid $43 at the store for the Weller special reserve and when I price checked it at Flaviar, it was $114.
Giovanni,
If you don't mind my asking, what city are you in? I'm in L.A and the cheapest I've seen this bottle for 120
Nicholas,
Yeah, CA has terrible Weller markup!
Lyshemah,
Grown and sexy drink to sip on the rocks . Can tell me nothing with a glass of this in my hand.
Dale,
Little bite, but the wheated sweetness comes out strong. Great after dinner sipper!
Jon,
Nice and smooth, good proof.
Rob,
Its got some bite but great flavor!
David,
Great flavor profile, long lasting finish
guest,
Just a killer Dram - shop Around, no need to pay more than $100-120
Brian,
Right on! I’m thinking more like $75!
Tad,
One of the best!
Christopher,
Have you ever seen the Chevy Chase movie Modern Problems, where his character snorts up voodoo witch powder like it’s cocaine? Weller 107 is my voodoo witch powder.
Tyler,
Want some HEAT? sip on this then!
Richard,
This is a fantastic bourbon! Probably my favorite bourbon in my collection. It's getting hard to find and when I have found it, it is often sold above retail which is frustrating. It's very smooth for a 107 proof whiskey. It is not your typical bourbon, a bit spicier than most. I think this is because of the added wheat. It does have many of the typical bourbon characteristics as well. It's great if you are looking to try something a little different.
Thomas,
Turbo taste to SR bottle
Daniel,
My favorite pour
Jose,
A must have for the price
Richard,
What a kick in the face on the first sip. But be ready for that second sip which is smooth, and extremely complex.
Brendan,
This might be my favorite whiskey. The nose is wonderful with a cognac spice to it. Rich and sweet mouthfeel with a long finish that has a hint of cinnamon. Amazing!
Jeff,
A wonderful whiskey indeed!
Adam,
Very good bourbon, one of my all-time favorites, just don't pay over $100 for it.
LaTrenda,
Are you saying that for all weller’s or just this particular one?
Adam,
At least this one and the special reserve those are the only one's I have tried
Scott,
Just like Weller 12 year but with the extra kick of the 107 proof to bring out the spice finish of cherries and cinnamon . So very delish.
James,
Hot out of the gate, but in the middle and end subjects you to a sweet, wheat and oak flavor that is very difficult to beat! Definitely enjoyed neat, and wouldn’t consider mixing with this.
Amy,
Another very good Bourbon if you can find it and at MSRP. The market is driving the price up but grab it it you see it without paying secondary pricing.
guest,
Spicy and sweet. Great tasting. I got it for $45
Jose,
This one has some heat but I think is still smooth and good, i don't think is worth the money it goes for, but overall is a good bottle
Todd,
Distinctive on the palate. Great Bourbon if you can get it anywhere close to retail. Not worth $200.
Michael,
Was seeking Old Rip Van Winkle when I learned that Weller Antique 107 is the same Mashbill and proof. After trying both it can easily be said that they are the same amazing product with the ORVW being smoother without losing the intensity of the flavors. That makes WA107 second place, but an absolute winner!!!
Montie,
I loved it. It is a very smooth bourbon that I really enjoy. I would recommend to anyone.
George,
Sweet and spicy, reminds me of Stagg, wheaty and delicious.
Robert,
Loved it, but it has increased more than 400% in just a few years. While a great bourbon, I'm very sorry to say I think it's over priced.
Seth,
The nose on this whiskey is amazing. Tastes pretty damn good too. Very good mouth feel. A little hot with a little spice to it. Great on a Friday night.
guest,
My favorite bottle of bourbon in years. Great nose and has that damp musty flavor I love.
Paul,
Best I have ever tasted.
Chad,
This is being sold as the Old Label Weller 107 but it came as the new label. The new label is not worth this cost. And it remains being marketed as old label Weller 107 despite their vendor not honoring it, and will ship the new label. This should not be marketed as Old Weller label.
Gregory,
Too harsh. Not very sweet. Not my thing.
Madison,
Love it, very smooth for 107 proof
Jonathan,
Very tasty
Matthew,
Absolutely love all of the Weller offerings. The heat on the 107 is great.
Ray,
Rye, tannins, with a little leather and some sweetness. A smooth finish with a little lingering spice.
Richard,
Very good nose. Probably the best whetted bourbon I've had. It is worth the MSRP, it is not worth the crazy mark-ups I've been seeing. Don't spend more than $60.
Kenneth,
Love this one. Very flavorful, sweet and spicy with a nice upfront kick.
Sam,
Good just good, sweet a little spice, just dang good
