What does Old Weller Antique taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Old Weller Antique and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Very smooth. Lots of vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch. Not that hot considering the proof

One of all my all time favorites, even greater when used to make Poor Man’s Pappy as well!

Andrew
Andrew,
9.5 - This is by far the best of the Weller collection (not including WLW) but compared to the CYPB, 12 year, and special reserve this one is by far better.

George
George,
Smoothness associated with Weller with the extra flavor and complexity of 107 proof. Absolutely superb.

Luke,
Nose: some alcohol burn with honey and vanilla Taste: smooth and sweet turns into nuttiness and apple with caramel with some heat, plenty of vanilla, honey finish

Great quality for a great price. Seeet maple character. Full bodied.

Joseph
Joseph,
This tastes like a poor man's Pappy. Same flavor profile but a little more bite as Pappy is mellow. Nothing special in the nose. Tart and oaky start and a peppery dry finish. Can't get hurt, but there are much more complex flavors out there. An inexpensive every day drinker.
