Old Kirk Single Barrel Kentucky Bourbon? Well, what on Earth is that? Savvy collectors have been gathering around this one, and our snoops tell us it actually comes from the Willett Distillery. Barrel #6832 was supposedly dedicated to a now shelved project, and since it couldn't be bottled as a Purple Top, it was released as Old Kirk.
The mash bill of this beaut' is 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% barley, the juice matured for six years and nine months, was bottled at 129.9 Proof and has a fantastic character with a medium-long finish. A bit enigmatic, but quite unique and beautiful.
