Very Smooth served neat.
Like it, not as much alone but paired with the right dessert its tasty.
Bubblegum, cake, hard candy, and almond joy on the nose. More candy on the palate, but then they rye presence swarms with cinnamon, pepper, and bready funk. A long finish but not much complexity. I would not reach for this over the 100 proof Old Forester.
I enjoyed it, but not one of my go to...
one of my favorites! great layered flavors!
A strong and delicious drink. Full of different flavors that change with the types of food you eat. An instant favorite for me.
Another strong bourbon from old forester. Smooth and flavorful
Very good taste at a good price
Very good bourbon but that’s what you expect being an old forester product. Very smooth great to drink neat or with 1 ice cube.
Extremely good & smooth, but maybe unremarkable flavour profile.
One of the most balanced whiskys I've tried. Nose will pick up a slight smoke with vanilla and cherries. The taste is smooth and complex. No overbearing flavors, no bite.
A little on the thin side. It’s good, but I’d rather have 1920 any day
Good clean finish easy to drink
One of my favorites for any purpose
Very smooth. Fun profile; spicy up front and a lingering butter-smooth finish.
Spicy caramel/vanilla/cinnamon profile. I think it’s priced just right. Delicious!
Distinctive and high-quality. Two of the best things a bourbon can be. It does not taste young.
Spicy, good taste after initial hit
Carmel and vanilla are the name of the game. This is such a smooth drink without being overly sweet, definitely has become a staple of my home bar. I purchased my bottle for $50 which made it an absolute steal.
Nose: leather, apple, sweetness, light fire scent
Taste: sweet and spice, some vanilla, slightly hot
Smooth with a slight burn at the end not to strong but just right.
Great bourbon. Similar to Blanton's.
I like it a little better than 1920 which everyone else seems to love the most in the OF line right now.
Hated it. Just tasted hot and not in a good way.
Pleasantly spicy up front and the finish stays with you. I’m still learning the nuances of taste differences but I do get a bit of a buttery flavor. Would love to find that candied orange finish that is described. I would buy this again.
enjoyed the finish on this one. enjoyed it straight
One of my new favorites
Very nice! Better then I thought it would be!
Great flavor, deep and lingering.
A nice flavored lingering drink. Definitely strong.
Fantastic flavor profile. Lots of spice not to much pepper. A great everyday bourbon
Very good, lots of spice and the old forestor famous Pepper.
