Top reviews for Old Forester Signature Bourbon 100 Proof:

— Apple, banana, and delicious. One of the best value whiskeys on the market.

— Very similar in the character of Old Forester. Similar to my favorite 1920, but a bit less complex and less bite. It's my daily go to add it is half the price of the 1920.

— Have been really hammering the bottled in bond and higher proof whiskeys of late as I tend to enjoy them more due to their complexity in flavor and balance. “Old Fo” 100 is no different and in my opinion is one of the best whiskeys you can get for the price point. Nose-cherry dark fruit vanilla cake, orange Palate-bourbon spice, vanilla/chocolate Finish-long similar flavors as palate a bit more pronounced fruitiness. Overall- very hard to believe this is a 25 dollar bottle due to its complexity and balance..definitely one of my favorites. 9.0/10

My go to discount bourbon. Good neat on the rock or in a mix.

Josh,
An excellent cheap bourbon. I like a hot bourbon, try the 86 proof if you like it milder.

Ulric
Ulric,
Nice notes of caramel, just a great all a round bourbon.

James
James,
The toffee was new to me but a good bourbon for the price.

Steve
Steve,
This is my go to every day whiskey. The price is right and I like it better then some of the more expensive whiskeys out there. Give it a try

Ted
Ted,
Good neat or mixed, price and taste make this a great daily drinker.

Galen
Galen,
I have really enjoyed this. I’m on my second bottle. It has a sharp hit with the first sip that I really like. Then there is a subtle residue that I’ve grown to look forward to. My comments are not technical but come from pure enjoyment.

Mark
Mark,
Unexpectedly good. It's sweet, but has some nice baking spices as well, plus some richness from the 100 proof. I tasted it blind with some more expensive BiB 100 proofers, and it wound up just edging out EH Taylor Small Batch (!) for first place. YMMV but terrific QPR and one of my go-tos as an everyday sipper.

Gregory
Gregory,
It’s ok but a little sweet for me. I prefer Wild Turkey 101 for a lower priced bourbon.

Kent
Kent,
Like Four Roses a great bourbon for Old Fashioned's or other mixed drinks. Really stands up at 100 proof. A great go to for everyday drinks. Nice with a cube if you let it sit a bit.

Solid bourbon with plenty of punch and plenty of sweetness.

Will
Will,
This is a great whiskey but my preferred use of it is for eggnog and other bourbon punches.

Burton
Burton,
This has a great cost-to-quality ratio. Tastes better than you would expect at its price. Easy sipping. Pleasantly flavorful. A great choice for someone just exploring Bourbon. Also for a veteran who enjoys a great value pour.

Nick
Nick,
Excellent bottle with a great nose and sweetness on the palate.

Emerson,
Bourbon mixer staple for Old Fashion or Mint Julep at my home bar.

Great Whiskey, great price

Not a bad daily sip.

Frank
Frank,
Forester with a bit of a bite. Rather new to the OF product line. I like it just fine with a heavy pour, a 2” cube and a little water.

Beau
Beau,
I definitely lean towards ryes, and this one delivered. It's the perfect rye burn and flavor and at 100 proof is great neat or on a cube.

Austin
Austin,
Hits all the classic bourbon notes, such a great bourbon for the money!

Justin
Justin,
Solid, smooth good flavor. I find it appealing

Clayton
Clayton,
Solid dram at 100 proof, but unspectacular. Compared to the 1920, I actually prefer this, but wish it had the same proofing. I’ll have to try the 1910 and 1890.

Cory
Cory,
It’s hot for my liking.

David
David,
Decent, strong banana aroma and taste
