The Artisan Tequila.

Tequila Ocho is produced by Carlos Camarena, a third generation Tequilero, in cooperation with Tomas Estes. This dynamic duo make Tequila slowly and in an artisan way, which accentuates the agave flavour. Ocho is the first Tequila to designate both the year it was produced and the precise field from which the agave was harvested as is done with fine wines. Each estate, or “rancho” produces a limited amount of agave, each vintage of Ocho is both rare and collectable. Ocho means eight, and it has many meanings for the distillery.

Ocho Añejo is a Single-estate Tequila, matured up to 3 years in American Oak barrels. Single estate means that the Agave plants have been harvested from one single field. In this particular case, the plant is located 2000 meters above sea level, which means the agave plants take longer to mature, making it more fruity, sugary, and sweet. Ocho Añejo It has a dominant agave flavour, which is what Ocho is all about.
