One year in Cuban wood did this tropical sipper well.

Ah, la Provence! Endless lavender fields, rolling vineyards, pine forests, and olive groves, all bathing in beautiful sunlight. Picasso, Van Gogh and Cézanne weren't the only ones who thought the region was pretty dope – young entrepreneurs Griet van Biervliet and Sofie Gardyn noticed the passion olive farmers put into their work and they loved it so much, they decided to make something extraordinary themselves. And so came to be the O’live range.

O'live Rum is a dark yet delicate Rum that was aged in Cuban wooden casks for 1 year. Sweet, full-bodied, and powerful, this tropical dram greets you with aromas of vanilla and fresh herbs. Sip on it neat or save it for cocktail hour and impress your guests.

What does O'live Rum taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in O'live Rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Rum is a sugar cane based spirit, primarily made in the Caribbean and Latin America, but you can really find Rum in many corners of the world.
Rum used to be accepted as a form of currency in Europe and Australia, a practice we should probably bring back into fashion.
Next time you have a tipple of Rum you can say that you're tapping the Admiral. This intriguing phrase comes from the great Admiral Nelson who was killed in the battle of Trafalgar off of Spain. The story is that his body was preserved in Rum to be shipped back to England but, when the barrel arrived, some of the Rum was missing and said to have been siphoned off by some desperate or unknowing sailors. It's a great story but most likely false.
You might find Rum masquerading itself under other nom de plumes, like Ron, Rom and Rhum.

If the center of our galaxy had a signature scent, it would be Rum. Yup, astronomers studying a giant cloud in the Milky Way found a substance called ethyl formate, a chemical that smells suspiciously like Rum.
