Small footprint, big flavors

Annabel Thomas was a London girl that fell in love and that love changed her life forever. The lucky fellow’s name? Scotch Whisky. In 2013, Annabel left her job in London to raise funds for her very own distillery of eco-friendly first-class Whiskey on the West Coast of Scotland. When she finally succeeded, she named it after a Queen of Spirits, hunt, and fierce protector of nature who isn’t afraid to carve her own path in the madness of everyday life, Neachneohain. As a kind gesture to her fans, she shortened the impossible-to-pronounce-name to Mc’Nean. Thanks, Annabel! And for the Spirits!

Mc’Neans Organic Single Malt is one elegant Whisky that will impress your eyes, your nose, and your taste buds. A whole package! Made from organic Scottish barley, known to bring an amazing depth of flavor to the Spirit, that was gently fermented and distilled with a soft hand before its maturation process in a combination of red wine and American whiskey barrels, alongside a small number of sherry casks. Bottled at an ABV of 46%, this Whisky is as eco-friendly as it gets, including its distillation in carbon neutral distillery and bottling in a recycled bottle. You will do no damage to the planet by enjoying a glass of this goodie.

Whisky distilling goes way back to 1494 when the first recorded batch was made by a posse of monks who acquired about 60 gallons of barley and decided to turn it into "aqua vitae". They created the first 1,500 bottles of Scotch in History.
90% of all Scotch Whiskies sold are Blends.
Single malt stands for around 10% of the Scotch market. This is a malt containing only one grain, legally required to be barley in Scotland, and made at a single distillery.

A blended Scotch is a combination of different malts from different distilleries. It is typically made from grain Whisky but does include malt Whisky to give it a more complex body.
Whisky or Whiskey? The spelling differs geographically. In Scotland, Japan, and some other parts of the world, distilleries usually spell it Whisky; in Ireland and the USA, they spell it Whiskey.
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
