About the Flavor Spiral
What does Mortlach 1970 (Gordon and MacPhail) taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Mortlach 1970 (Gordon and MacPhail) and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
Want to visit but your bogged down with children, who don't appreciate Scotch? Let them know that Hogwarts, the magical school of Harry Potter fame, is hidden somewhere near Dufftown in the books!
Scotland is home to more than 20 million casks of maturing Whisky. That’s four for every person living there. Nuts!
90% of all Scotch Whiskies sold are Blends.
Whisky or Whiskey? The spelling differs geographically. In Scotland, Japan, and some other parts of the world, distilleries usually spell it Whisky; in Ireland and the USA, they spell it Whiskey.
Can Scotch go bad? Technically, an unopened bottle of Scotch can last forever. Air is the only true evil to Whisky; once the liquid is oxidized it is no longer immortal. After opening, as long as you store your Whisky in a cool, dry place, it will last another 5 years.
