Daniel
Daniel,
I had high hopes for this, but it’s just not my style. I can get Glenlivet or Glenfiddich 18yr for less and IMO those are better. Tastes like a sweeter, fuller, less smoky JW Black Label, but not a $120 bottle. Good, but not $120 good.

Christine
Christine,
I liked it, notes of nutmeg and smoke- but not as smooth as some others..

Aaron
Aaron,
Very, very nice. Honey, cinnamon, dark fruits, and even picked up a marshmallow note on the nose. In a way, this came off as a great dessert sipper to me after a big savory meal. Well done!

Evan
Evan,
Loved this one! super smooth, definitely taste cherry but with a smoky finish that just leaves you so satisfied. Has a long finish where berries come to play. Delicious!

Mark
Mark,
I first tasted Mortlach during a tour of Blair Athol on a trip to Scotland. Blair Athol makes my absolute favorite Highland Scotch--pity so much is blended. This isn't quite up to Blair Athol standards for me, but still a very nice, smooth Scotch.

Nancy
Nancy,
I have an emotional attachment to Mortlach, based on a visit to a little whisky shop in the Lake District years ago. The young woman minding the shop was asleep. Could have helped myself to anything, but bought my first bottle of Mortlach. This 16-year was deeper, better mouthfeel, longer finish and quite satisfying. Looking forward to more drinking and remembering.
