― A mild candy-like edge to the aroma with notes of pear, oak, and berries on the nose. In the mouth, vanilla and pear with oak coming through in the finish. Fruity with the wood evident throughout. The flavor wheel shows peaty, but I get no peat at all. On the fruity side of the whiskey scale, not the peaty side. Pretty nice. Complex and balanced. Smooth.
