Shochu is all the rage in the Land of the rising sun, which means it’s literally big in Japan. It’s a diverse distilled beverage, usually from rice or barley, and has a bit more punch than Sake. The Munemasa family, which has more than a century of experience under their belt, decided to rejuvenate the Japan's favorite dram, using another ancient and popular drink: green tea.
Munemasa's Green Tea Shochu is a careful blend of two-row barley (61%), black Koji rice (29%), and fresh green tea leaves (10%). And it isn't just any green tea. It's a sencha tea that comes from Ureshino, the region famous for its high-quality green tea fields. Pour it and enjoy the fresh and sweet aromas, with lovely notes of white chocolate.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
