For the price, not sure there’s a much better eye out there. Slightly sweet that is to the sherry cask finish.
Amazing rye with a great finish. We bought this when we visited limestone in Kentucky three years ago. It was amazing tasting experience when we visited as well.
One of my favorite rye whiskeys out there. Simply can't go wrong.
Smooth full mouth with a sweet overtone.
one of the best rye, finished whiskeys I've ever had at a great price. Fresh clean taste!
Sherry nose for sure. Follows throughout. Not much rye character. Makes for a nice aperitif or dessert whiskey. Also mild notes of oak with velvet feel.
VERY smooth taste. Most enjoyable rye I've ever tasted. Only downside> It was gone VERY quickly!!!
Subtle good easy drinker. Little tickle on the tongue but smooth all around
Love the sherry finish, great bang for your buck
Great, unique flavor. Very smooth for a rye, and the sherry adds a nice touch. Feel like it's still missing something though.
Just average. Sweet, easy finish, flavor not powerful
Needs to be blended into a cocktail. Not strong enough to be near.
Expected more. A bit harsh. Not fond of the flavor profile. Glad to be done with the bottle.
A really nice rye for the price. Sherry cask finish adds a pleasant touch. Makes a great tasting cocktail. Completely underrated in the rye world.
Really excellent combination that comes from the rye and sherry casks--spicy and a rich, creamy, undertone. I found the combination sours as it lingers on the palate, to the point that the finish almost feels like cough syrup (which sounds worse than I mean it), but I still love it on the whole.
This is my favorite rye...I like it better than Whistle Pig and other trendy ryes. Love the sherry finish, you can really taste the sherry and cherry-like sweetness, along with caramel. But has just enough bite.
I once bought this bottle a while back and it was a wonderful whiskey (my favorite rye so far actually). The flavor was exactly as described, it was smooth, complex, and all of the flavors were there, nothing was overwhelming. HOWEVER.... I recently ordered another bottle of the same minor case, which looks the same save for the letters being painted (a nice touch). For some reason it is much more rough this time and the oak is very overwhelming. The nose however is similar to last time. I'm not sure what happened or if it's just the bottle i got, but I didn't want to give it a bad rating because f how good it was the last time I bought it. Would still buy it again!
Goes down smoothly. Easy drinking whiskey. My wife’s go to when my mother’s around.
One of my absolute favorites! Plus, best distillery tour ever. Stephen Fante is amazing and incredibly entertaining!
Excellent rye. Pour let sit and it gets a nice caramel note. Definitely will be a keeper in my collection.
Dangerously smooth and well-balanced whisky. The sherry flavor shows up in the middle of the flavor profile. The alcohol burn is negligible and sweetness is prominent but not overpowering.
This is pretty good for two years. The flavor profiles are pretty spot on but none of them are overly potent. It’s definitely worth the price here but not the $16 pour or $55 bottle I’ve seen it in my local area.
This is one of my favorites, smooth, sweet, perfect on its own or in an old fashion!
Smooth and sweet.
Outstanding with a great taste!
Shockingly good taste with a light Sherry at the end
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical AF with the 2 Year age statement but wow did this dram from Minor Case deliver!
Caramel and vanilla are obvious on the nose that leads into a mellow spice and oak note with hints of fruit on the palette followed by a long sweet sherry finish.
Literally mind blown with how clean this Rye is. Well done!
Spicy and bold
I am new to Rye. I think I might be more of a scotch guy. This is just a little too harsh for my taste.
Sweet on the tongue. Hints of maple and cherry, nice finish. I really like the aftertaste, it’s quite smooth and mellow.
A very good rye.
This is delicious, smooth, and very easy drinking....neat and iced. I'll order it again.
