Joe
Joe,
Interesting nose starts sweet then the anise kicks in variety of flavors meld for a nice finish

Alex
Alex,
You may like this if you like FUNKY baijiu. I didn’t realize before ordering, but this one falls into the “strange flavor” branch of the baijiu family, and, I can see how someone might like it, but it’s not for me. I tend to like the more mellow sort of baijiu you’d find around Beijing - if that’s what you’re looking for, this is not it. As a last ditch attempt, I just tried to use a quarter ounce of it in a cocktail with 4oz of total ingredients, just to add a bit of flavor - and it totally overpowered the whole thing, with a flavor reminiscent of rotting fruit. That being said, if you’re into “strange flavor” baijius, might be worth a shot.

Constance
Constance,
Initially very sharp on the tongue but the aftertaste was awful. I honestly never had anything that tasted or affected me as this one. It will never be on my list.

Zachary
Zachary,
Really nice pineapple nose. Smooth finish, but a weird aftertaste that I couldn't get over.

Angela
Angela,
Great pear nose and then some very off putting flavor.

Antti
Antti,
It is a complex, 'Sichuan Baijiu that has a tropical birth; while a spicy life leads to a long & earthy death with notes of forest floor & barnyard.

John
John,
Too many notes of manure

Michael
Michael,
Pretty nasty stuff definitely not a repeat purchase smells like gym socks that haven’t been washed all season and tasted just as bad whew

Thomas
Thomas,
Everybody that tried this at a tasting party had a hard time finishing an ounce. It left a very strong unpleasant aftertaste that lingered for too long.
