‘The Midletons’ are back at it! The third expression in this exquisite series based on native Irish wood, or more specifically, Irish Oak from different forests, is just as exciting as its predecessors.

It features virgin barrels from Knockrath Forest, Vale of Clara. It’s primarily aged in American Oak Bourbon barrels but gets additional Irish oak hogshead treatment from the said estate.

This Single Pot Still Irish treat is a carefully conducted harmony of Midleton Whiskies aged between 13 and 26 years, finished in Irish oak and bottled at 56.6% Abv. The interaction between the wood and juice creates a complex expression bursting with fruity and spicy highlights.

Please, sip for yourself!

A Whiskey academy was started in 2013 at the Midleton Distillery.
There are many Irish Whiskey varieties: grain Whiskey, malted barley pot-still-distilled, and ‘pure pot-still’ or ‘single pot still’ as it is now officially known. Then there is Poitin, one of the first Spirits ever made.
