Top reviews for MDRC Cody Road Rye Whiskey:

― Smooth

― It's smooth, with a lovely tropical fruit aroma that's very mellow. The taste is superb - chocolatey, with a touch of cinnemon and a little bit spice-like. It has a wonderful long finish too. So it's definitely on my must-buys List.

― Quite a different rye. Bright and fruity up front, with a bit of spice afterward. I actually draw some comparisons with a Japanese rice whisky I recently tried...but with rye spice. If you like a mild, fruity whisky - give this a shot. If you prefer a heavier, spicier whisky...probably not for you.

Maple, fruits and brown sugar get carried away with that rye closure.

The non expected complexity comes to life here… Oak and pepper come to life and don’t leave easily coming back to your nose with every sip.

Rye, oak, vanilla, brown sugar, honey, maple, grain, apricot, pepper.
