Tasting Notes
Appearance / Color
Pale amber.

Nose / Aroma
Mild but full of grain and spices on the nose, some honey and vanilla action going on. Hints of apricot and wildflower are also present.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
Maple, fruits and brown sugar get carried away with that rye closure.

Finish
The non expected complexity comes to life here… Oak and pepper come to life and don’t leave easily coming back to your nose with every sip.

Flavor spiral
Rye, oak, vanilla, brown sugar, honey, maple, grain, apricot, pepper.

Matt
Matt,
Definitely sweeter than your traditional rye but still has a bit of spice hiding in the finish. Honey and orange blossom up front with a bit of young oak. A different take on rye but not bad. Not as smooth as I would want in a higher rated spirit though.

Boyd
Boyd,
Sweet, a little bit of kick. Not my type

Rick
Rick,
Sweet with a bite, but not that smooth

Paul
Paul,
Young and nasty--and not in a good way!

Scott
Scott,
This was not my favorite. The taste was thin and the alchohol came through. Tasted vaguely industrial.
