Smooth and I’ll her home! Pleasant on the nose! Not, only would I take Surrenne to Home, I’ll take her to Paris to pickup her dry cleaning!
It wasn't as sweet as I expected after reading the card. However it had a good flavor and was reasonably smooth.
All around good flavor.
Sweet and a smooth taste all throughout. Would like a tad more Smokey bite at the end but overall an excellent sip!
Fantastic nose and smooth finish.
Very smooth, mild flavor. Nice!
Sweet, fruity and smooth. Reminded me of a combination of honey butter bread and plums. Very tasty.
approachable Cognac, fruity and sweet; sort of a starter sip for the uninitiated; after dinner at the table to perhaps accompany a salty cheese, but wont stand up to cigar on the terrace
I sampled this twice: on its own and side-by-side with the Remy Martan 1738 Accord Royal. The nose is a bit simple with a metallic note in the middle surrounded by fruits such as apples and peaches. A little vanilla cream shows itself in the background. Compared to the Remy it is too simple and not to the same level.
On the palate it is fruity, sweet, with some floral notes. The palate and mouth feel are much better than the nose. The finish is long, sweet and floral. Again, the Remy trumps it here with a more complex palate with more wood notes interlaced with fresh fruit.
Overall it is an ok drink but for the price there are better options out there.
Not bad but not great. I wouldn’t buy it again. Smooth in the beginning and a bite at the end.
Delicious. Ordering for sure.
The sweet accents the peach and figs perfectly. really loving this one!
Enjoyed the sweet start. Finished with a pleasing honey, vanilla, and oak warmth.
This had a sweet nose and was surly sweet to begin followed by a
Sting mango flavor this is going to be one of my favorites.
Tasted honey and a deep fig taste. Along with notes of apricot and peach.
Not much happening on the nose or the front end. Whipped cream with sprinkles. Simple and easy.
Not much happening on the nose or the front end. Warms up to whipped cream with sprinkles. Pretty simple and easy.
Really enjoyed it, I'm a 1738 drinker for the most part and this reminded me more of it than other cognac's I've tried. I'm also a huge peach fan so this is a natural fit.
Smooth, sweet fruit similar to peach or mango. Easy sipping cognac.
Little bit of fruit flavor, reasonably sweet, and a light burn at the end.
Very good taste with a kick
Light fruitiness, sweet, not overpowering and no burn
Good, smooth, nicely-rounded cognac.
Had a very strong taste of fig, not my favorite. Though I did like the oak finish.
Love the fruity notes; sweet peaches for sure! Don't have any prior experience w/Cognacs, but this one set a high bar!
It is a very good, rich Cognac that has a rich birth; while a fruity life leads to a rich death of medium length.
Definitely peach and mango flavor. Depends on what you want out of a drink but I prefer a bit more "bite" in my sipping alcohol. Not bad but if I want fruity, I'll do a mixed drink.
Very smooth great finish
Very smooth and sweet
Very nice, smooth, somewhat sweet with an excellent finish.
Smooth and light. Definitely a new favorite.
Benefits from warming a bit in the hand - but this is a nice smooth & sweet cognac I would love to have a bottle of (tried it in a sampler)
Very sweet, fruity. Like a high alcohol dessert wine. Not bad, but I think I’ll stick to whisky!
Very tasty cognac! Wonderful mix of fruit on the tongue. Honey notes.
Sweet, with some fire to it.
Fruity, smooth. Very good
Cognac is always a treat for me. I loved the smoothness & flavor of this one. Being a member of this club has surely opened me up to more possibilities
The fig somewhat overwhelms but overall it is a good dram. B-
