Character Goatson

Yes, this is it - an exact replica of the whisky left in Antarctica by Sir Ernest Shackleton during his ill-fated South Pole expedition between 1907 and 1909. The whisky was recreated down to the very last detail by Whyte and Mackay's blender extraordinaire, Richard Paterson. The final replica bottle of Mackinlay's blend contains whiskies from Speyside, the Island, and the Highlands, and the recipe even includes some very rare 1983 Glen Mhor! This is a limited release of 50,000 bottles, and £5 from each bottle will be donated to the Antarctic Heritage Trust. to read more about this fantastic endeavour on our blog.
