Joshua
Joshua,
A bit rich and flowery, but not overpowering. Interesting pallete, bit peppery on the back end.

Bernardo
Bernardo,
Unfortunately this bottle was neither smooth, nor tasteful. People at my parties always enjoy a new bottle of Macallan, but this bottle was awful, burning everyone's throats. Maybe it was the bottle? Other people seem to like it as per the reviews here, but neither i, nor anyone that i know that tasted it can recommend it. it was undrinkable.

Eduardo
Eduardo,
Nice and complex, really enjoyable. Chocolate, vanilla, orange zest and spices come to the nose. Rich palate and oak with a long lasting end

Phil
Phil,
A very fine Macallan. If you take the 12 year and take away some bite and smooth out the edges, you get the No. 2. It comes packed with flavor but doesn't have the bite of the 12 year.

Marc
Marc,
Good, high quality scotch, with nice flavors. Smooth, but not as rich or similar in profile to traditional Macallans

Ian
Ian,
Nose: tobacco, cinnamon, orange peel Taste: dry, chocolate orange, figs, prunes, ginger, brandy Finish: medium length, warm; vanilla, fruit

Rubia
Rubia,
It’s pretty darn good

Jonathan
Jonathan,
Not a "typical" Scotch but loaded with flavor. Simultaneously spicy and floral. Strong nose and a smooth, hot finish. Prefer sipping in winter. Can't wait to see their 4th Edition.

Leo
Leo,
Very smooth. The kind of scotch you want to drink when eating pork, deer, or duck.

Jonathan
Jonathan,
Very smooth, similar to the Macallan 12 year with more flavor. Would recommend again!

Kevin
Kevin,
Very smooth straight. The top notes of ginger and toffee make it so appealing.

A bottle with a lot of complexity but is still remarkably smooth. A few drops of water can go a long way to opening up hidden flavors.

This is the smoothest and most delectable Scotch I've ever tried, my new favorite! Even my wife, who doesn't like Scotch, liked this one!

Almost perfect!!

Mike
Mike,
My usual is Macallan 12 yo. I took a chance on the Edition No. 2, knowing the price is double the 12 and I can get 15 yo for $100.00. I must say that it was worth it! Very smooth and now one of my favorites!

Robert
Robert,
Almost like a "Best of Macallan" bottle. Smooth but forward secondary vanilla and oak flavors, with a touch of smoke and citrus at the end.

luis
luis,

Tom
Tom,
This was incredible. One of my favorites. A lot of oak taste.

Boyd
Boyd,
Savings for a raining day along with Ed#1

Josh
Josh,
I am enjoying my bottle. It is a bit sweeter than anticipated though. I will continue to randomly enjoy a finger at a time, but it wont be my daily drink.
