Brian
Brian,
Very smooth and enjoyable! No clue to compare it to other Macallan and non-Macallan...need to do a vertical tasting.

Greg
Greg,
This is an excellent Scotch. It’s fruity but not overwhelmingly so; plenty of oaky flavor in there to balance it out. Just a really good drink.

Nathan
Nathan,
The flavor has some sweetness but the wood notes dominate the majority of the experience. It was enjoyable to try but I wouldn't add it to my list of favorites. If someone is looking for a distinct wood element in their spirit, this would be a good option. It was certainly a unique flavor.

David
David,
I definitely taste the oak up front but the sweetness is also quite prominent. I prefer it neat, no water.

Alex

Musste ich ein zweites Mal trinken, da erstes Mal recht dünn. Sehr leicht zu trinken, eichiges Mundgefühl. 07/20 - Wien

Really a very good dram. Nothing to complain about. Simple, to the point. Smooth oak, sherry sweetness and beautifully well rounded.

A very smooth yet surprisingly complex Scotch. The lingering aftertaste warmth is a bonus.
