Finest Trio in a Fantastic Blend.

The Macallan distillery has been making Whisky-lovers happy since 1824 – that’s when America was at their fifth president – and since then, they have perfected their art. 200 years of know-how, savoir-faire, and inspiration, combined with fresh water source, secret specially cultured barley, and the smallest stills – it all results in some of the finest Whiskies.

This expression is undoubtedly among them. The Macallan Triple Cask range (previously known as The Fine Oak) is created by the masters blending an intricate combination of different casks: European and American Sherry-seasoned oak and ex-Bourbon casks. What we get is a complex and rich harmony of various wood influences. Speaking of wood, The Macallan is the only distillery crafting fresh Sherry-seasoned casks in the world, so this Spirit is unique as hell. With all the time in the world, this 18YO turned into a sophisticated and fine specimen, an exotic coquetry of the velvety palate with wood spice, cocoa and orange flavors.

Can Scotch go bad? Technically, an unopened bottle of Scotch can last forever. Air is the only true evil to Whisky; once the liquid is oxidized it is no longer immortal. After opening, as long as you store your Whisky in a cool, dry place, it will last another 5 years.
The Macallan Speyside estate is the only distillery ground in Scotland where you can fish for atlantic salmon. It sits right on the River Spey and from February to September is the perfect location for some salmon fishing.
90% of all Scotch Whisky released in the market is a blend. That’s a hell of a lot.
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
Scotland is home to more than 20 million casks of maturing Whisky. That’s four for every person living there. Nuts!
90% of all Scotch Whiskies sold are Blends.
