— This is the beverage equivalent of "he hit me... and it felt like a kiss." Strong spicy punch with a quick impact and warm lingering finish. Discovered it through a tasting box and I am frankly obsessed with it -- enough to fork over what for me is a considerable sum for this bottle.
— Love this spirit. It was perfectly balanced. A hint of honey is always great for me in cognac.
— Wow this is really good my new fav but I can’t afford to buy a bottle every month

Thomas,
Absolutely delicious. Caramel, vanilla, hints of fruit and leather come together perfectly. Smooth with a long pleasant finish.
Nilda,
Really enjoyed this one. Smooth taste nice finish.
Chris,
Thus far the smoothest drink I have ever had the pleasure of drinking! The sweetness punctuated by light tobacco and oak notes with a long warming finish.
Top of my wish list and gift ideas for family.

Marlon,
Love this spirit. It was perfectly balanced. A hint of honey is always great for me in cognac.
Mat,
I really enjoyed this but just don’t think it can live up to the price tag.
Nutty and dried fruit aromas with vanilla and leather hints. Lovely rich depth to the nose.
Dried fruit and walnut flavours with a long finish.
Really good but for another £20 you can get hold of the remy Martin XO which imo blows this out of the water in terms of complexity and flavour.
Matt,
More harsh and stringent than I would expect from a cognac. Some caramel flavor with very slight sweetness.
Antonio,
Really good
Robert,
Amazing start to finish. Strong grape, fruit and leather scents and mouth. Incredible finish. Great all around.
David,
Ok. Didn’t seem to have the flavors I expected
Nicole,
Fantastically smooth, with a subtle sweetness! Tried it in a tasting box and loved it so much we purchased the bottle!
Jason,
Complex flavors, less sweet than I like
Laura,
Curious. It says XO on the bottle but 6 yr in the description. Is this Napolean age or XO?
Craig,
Not a cognac drinker, but wanted to give it a try so got the "Le Cognac" tasting box. I found this one very spicy up front, but my wife REALLY liked this one. It was very smooth and had excellent flavor...very nice sipper.
Steve,
its ok for me a little harsh at the end
robert,
Wow this is really good my new fav but I can’t afford to buy a bottle every month
Ott,
average. not worth the money
Toshinao,
Very nice. Not sure it’ll have a spot in my bar for its price - and what I get for it - but it’s still very tasty and almost instantly fills the room with its aroma.
Bruce,
I get vanilla and honey, tobacco and oak for sure. But leather? Who wants to taste that? Although la creme de la creme, this might be too dank for me. Wouldn’t turn it down tho!
Ingus,
Veeeery smooth. Loved it!
Eduard,
To sweet for me.
Wilbbflum,
Love it!!
Brent,
I'm a scotch drinker and thought, what the hell, let's try something new. Really liked this Cognac. Smooth and flavorful. I won't pretend to know all the tasting notes to look for as Cognac is new to me, but I quite enjoyed this one.
Troy,
It is good, don't get me wrong, but I don't particularly care for it. There isn't anything that stands out that makes me want to tell others about it. It is solid but not something I would come back for again.
Kevin,
New to cognac but thought it was very smooth and good
Ron,
Complex, well balanced and smooth. It was hard for me to pick out many specific flavors since it was so well balanced but leather came through. I'm considering adding a bottle to my home bar but will want to try out others at this price point first.
robert,
Was really tasty and smooth. I plan on buying a bottle
Elisa,
Strong with a real pleasant taste.
Lawrence,
It was the best of the 3. It was very smooth and mellow tasting straight out the bottle. You could smell and taste everything that makes it great.
ISABEL,
Leathery taste, but in a good way.
Michael,
My first time with Cognac. You have my attention.
Elisabeh,
Defntely the best of the trio nuttery smooth hints of vanilla but does not finish sweet- highly recommend
Andrej,
Perhaps even too rich for my taste. Really needs a right moment to enjoy.
Thomas,
This has a very smooth start you can taste the honey at the start but the leather notes balance that out so it’s not to sweet. After that it has a enjoyable finish.
Matthew,
Very smooth coming in with a near salt water taste with definite leather and honey following.
John,
This was the best in the trio. Nice compliment of flavors. Goes great with a Cigar.
Nicki,
Enjoyed this very much! Smooth, sweet, easy to sip. Definitely going to get this for my home bar.
Matthew,
Have had only a couple cognacs to compare against, but this one was great.
Scott,
Excellent. Smooth. If I ever get this again I’ll accompany it with a nice cigar. (Got this as part of a sampler).
Michael,
Absolutely delicious.
Peyton,
Vanilla, Leather on front, with Fruit on the body and end
Charles,
Very light. It has a slight sweetness with a hint of leather. Doesn’t not linger but for an instant.
Lorenzo,
If you like oak with subtle hints if sweetness this is your dram. This is a good XO, bit high on price but one heck of Cognac!
Antti,
It is a very good, intense, XO Cognac with a long & complex finish.
Randy,
Magnificent
Thomas,
I tried this as part of Le Cognac. It came alongside a VS and a VSOP. I thought the VSOP was way better and the VS about as good.
Sean,
Great. Didn’t realize I’d like Cognac
Bill,
Very smooth and sweet. Not sure I would pay that much for it but it was a great dram
Chris,
No way it's worth anywhere close to that price
Greg,
The aroma was sharp, and not as complex as I'd hoped. Similar to a lacquer, but sweet. The favor was deeper, with obvious leather and honey overtones. The glass finishes with butter and tobacco. It was pleasant and smooth.
