Top reviews for Leopold Bros. Maryland Style Rye:

— Fantastic

— You can really taste the strawberry in this. It is a very unique flavor profile. While this would not be an everyday type of drink, on occasion its quite delicious.

— Quite unique. A very floral nose, dominated by freshly cut grass and hay. This carries through to the flavor profile too, along with hints of cinnamon, blueberry, burnt grain, and honey. It sounds strange but it really works well. Fruit and floral hang around as the aftertaste in a pleasant manner. No off-flavors or off-putting heat.

Rick
Rick,
I love trying new spirits - and I do love my share of Rye whiskey. So with all the positive reviews, I had to give this a go. I might come back to it in a day or so and revise my thoughts, but I doubt it. You either like something initially, maybe even fall in love, or you just realize it's not for you. And that's my first instinct after my first glass. May end up giving it away. Of all the many whiskeys I do love, there's no reason to choke something down you just don't like - and I'm afraid this is what I'd have to do with this. Just needs a different 'home'.

Clayton,
I am more of a bourbon man so I knew I was taking a chance with this. Had a different taste that wasn't my cup of tea. Tried it twice on separate occasions and still couldn't get around the unique taste. First bottle of whiskey that I ever gave away.

Don
Don,
Very unique flavor. A wonderful spirit and recommend it to all with a pallet for true whiskey
