Character Goatson
This was distilled from peated malt at the Tobermory distillery in Mull. It was aged in a sherry cask and taken to Bruichladdich were it was bottled in 2011. There are 1,500 bottles of this stuff, redolent of winter spices and roasted chestnuts!

90% of all Scotch Whisky released in the market is a blend. That’s a hell of a lot.
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
The old name 'Ledaig' means 'safe haven' in Gaelic.
Sinclair was only allowed to build a brewery, because his application for a distillery was rejected, due to the conservation of grain stores for the War of the First Coalition with France, between 1795 and 1797.
Malt Whisky production in the distillery is split half and half, between the Tobermory and Ledaig single malts, according to the malt Whisky Yearbook.
Categories of Scotch Whisky: Single malt, Blended malt (formerly called Vatted malt), blended, single grain and blended grain Scotch.
