Laphroaig Triple Wood
Louis,
I really enjoyed how smooth it was compared to the 10year old, still had that lovely peaty taste though.
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Matthew,
Smoky, strong, a very enjoyable dram
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Scott,
Loved it super smooth love the Peat !
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Robert,
Very peaty. With a drop or two of water makes it sweeter. Still can get over the taste of band-aids. I like smoke but I may not like Islays.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
Dennis,
Peatiest around. Can be a bit acidic -- be ready for that kick.
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Roy,
With a room full of my wife's excited friends busily chattering in parallel, at volume, this Laphroaig was the ideal antidote. Covertly enjoying the interesting flavours, silently smiling and nodding to another successful bottle, they were none the wiser...
Laphroaig Lore
Mehdi,
Smoky, medicinal, best whiskey I ever had.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
Michael,
Too smoky for me. Also a strange finish with a strong alcohol taste.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
James,
Smokey initially followed by notes of dry fruit on the back end. Enjoyable peated whiskey that's not to overpowering.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
James,
First sip the peat was a little overwhelming, I added just a dollop of my favorite ginger ale and it was magic. You just got to dampen down the smoke a tad. Good Stuff.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
Jonathan,
This is the best peated cs I've ever had price considered. It has the classic bite of Laphroaig and the higher alcohol content really preserves the flavor of the malt intended.

John,
Wow there is a lot of peat here. Not much of a burn but a ton of smoke, a bit of seaweed and that salty, briny flavor from the sea. Intense but delightful.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Michael,
Fantastic scotch for the price. Aggressive and smoky, both in good ways.
Laphroaig Triple Wood
WILLIAM,
The flavor spiral tells it all... definitely Smokey to start, but vanilla, hint of fruit, & sweetness round it out. It’s very complex yet straightforward. Spill a drop on your hand & it smells like a campfire, taste a sip & it takes you for a ride. Once you get past the wonderful Smokey flavors, you can concentrate on the more subtle notes. Finish is fantastic.
Laphroaig Triple Wood
James,
Not nearly as smooth as one might be led to believe. Not sensing any sherry at all. The classic Islay peat still carries the day - sweetness not so much.

"Like drinking a mermaids bath water"
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength

Powerful as expected from cask strength, a good introduction to Laphroaig, i add about equal parts water, islay water bottled from the same source of course!

I prefer the standard 10 due to price range as of now but it still is a great expression

Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Shaun,
The peat gives it a smoky front end, but has a smooth and sweet finish. Really enjoyed this one.
Laphroaig Lore

Smoky and peaty. Beautiful mix.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Nellie,
A peaty back end, which isn’t for me.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
guest,
Quintessential whiskey which holds a very special place in my life. I’ll go out of my way to get a bottle.
Laphroaig Select
guest,
Definitely has the base of a laphroaig whiskey, but has funky tastes which brings down its quality
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
guest,
Excellent peaty taste and exceptional bottle. Very memorable and worth getting again if I see it on the shelf.

Sara,
This is how I learned I am a peat monster...
Laphroaig Triple Wood
GySgt,
This is one of my favorites. It is very smooth almost to a fault as it is easy to get a little carried away with. The Smokey caramel and subtle sweetness make it a nice finish to a long day. This is a very good Scotch for those not looking for the highly peated or heavy smoke flavors . I enjoy many of the Laphroaig spirits and this is one of my favorites.

Jeremy,
Oily Bliss. My favourite Laphroaig on offer. I was walking to Kilchoman on Islay with a bottle of this in my bag. My feet hurt so my friend and I sat down on the side of a hill and poured ourselves a dram. The sheep were bleating, the sky was blue, not a single car passed by. Time slowed to a crawl. It was just us, the countryside, and the Lore.

guest,
This is my go to scotch.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
guest,
I love this scotch whisky
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Jacob,
A peat monster... with soft cuddly edges? Very rounded with a touch of sherry sweetness, but still impressively hearty.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Greg,
Love the peat and the ocean. Not an everyday Scotch; but, a real treat when I want to sit back and relax.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
guest,
Smokey and a wonderful peatiness. Enjoy with a nice block of cheese or chocolate.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Kevin,
Heavily peated yet deeply complex and drinkable.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Jyrki,
This will take you around the corner and kick your ass. You will hate yourself for loving this. How is it possible that licking a burned stick then drinking sucared seawater on top of it be one of the best things in the world.

Laphroaig Triple Wood

Full bodied. Smoky. Not for the beginner. Seaweed. Peaty. Long lasting.

William,
Another one of the love or hate whiskys that I love. Yes, it's a ton of iodine on top of the smoke, but it's distinct and remarkably consistent. Lagavulin is better of the type, but it's also about three times the price and it's not three times better.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
Stefano,
Nice and peaty
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Zach,
Who knew the smell of band aids could taste so wonderfully sweet and peaty. My absolute go-to. As someone said before, you either love it or you hate it.
Laphroaig Select
Marques,
Veeeeery peaty. If you love peat, you *might* love this. If you don't absolutely love peat you probably won't like this bottle. As someone else said, it's not for the faint of heart.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Rahul,
Smoky, Peaty.
