Laphroaig Quarter Cask
David,
Delicious, basically lagavulin 16 but not as smooth
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Ryan,
First single malt scotch I ever had - almost 20 years ago. It's the yardstick I measure all scotch by.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Josh,
I like a very strong peaty smokey scotch and this delivers in spades. Just a hint of bitterness to balance it out with a strong smoke finish on the back of the tongue. Tried with a Tillamook smoked sharp white chedder and it was amazing.
Laphroaig Select
Ron,
Absolutely wonderful. Smokey, smooth, no bitter alcohol. Carmel flavor. Absolutely perfect!
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Amber,
Very peaty and smokey!
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Karri,
First real whisky that I ever bought myself. The taste changed my life view how I looked at spirits in general. The smokey flavor took me into a journey and I haven't looked back since.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
Zach,
Spicier, less funkier Laphroaig 10.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Joshua,
a very good Islay; not too peaty, but sufficient; smooth and almost too easy to drink

Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Joni,
Very, very oaky, not as full of smoke ja peat as Was expecting. Fantastic single malt to relax with after a long week💪🏽
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Maxwell,
Fantastic taste
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Robert,
I prefer the 10 year old better than the 15 or the 25 year old because the smokiness and peaty taste is much more intense. One of my favorites.
Laphroaig Select
Liam,
Earthy, peat, good bite.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Todd,
Better than I expect given I am not a huge smoke person. Definitely smoky but just a couple drops of water brings out all the other flavors
Laphroaig Lore
Bryan,
Peaty, smoky, with lesser hints of brine. Followed with sweet, oily, tannic finish that lingers in the mouth for a good bit of time. Well balanced, and full bodied. Something different every time you pour a glass. Love it!
Laphroaig Select
Stephen,
Best Whisky I've tried to date, absolutely delicious. Smokey, Peaty, and hints of Caramel. Highly recommend! 10/10
Laphroaig Select
Forrest,
Not as complex as the 10 year for a few bucks more but love the peat. A solid buy.

James,
My first attempt at a peated scotch. Yup- Peaty. I like one glass every now and then. Can’t do more than one though.

Eric,
I can handle smoke, but I can't handle this much smoke. You're either a Laphroig drinker, or you're not. I'm not.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Matthew,
Amazing if overpowering smell and taste. After a few sips you get used to it and pick up the other rich flavours.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
guest,
The QC never disappoints. Actually better than the flagship Laphroaig 10. If you haven't tried this, you owe it to yourself to pick up a bottle!
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Levi,
It's alright. I much prefer the normal Laphroaig to this one. That being said it's alright, but nothing special.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Martin,
Initial nosing is, of course strong with smoke/peat with hints of pepper and a bit of veiled sweetness. Dark nut/fruit tones. Tasting certainly displays the smoke, peat and earthiness. As my palate became acclimated to the peat there is certainly some sweeter flavors, dark fruits, raisins/figs which lingered afterwards. I am not a peat fan but I found this to be an array of flavors and a strong finish. Peat/smoke fans will enjoy this.
Laphroaig 18 Year Old
Roger,
love it! less smoky than most 18's
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Ryan,
This is one of the few Islays that stands up to the mighty Lagavulin 16. With the three cask finishes, you end up with a wonderfully complex dram. The usual Laphroaig smoke/peat/iodine/brine is there, but in addition you get lots of woody oak. The sherry cask does not over-power, and plays really well with the other flavors. If you're an Islay lover, give this a try.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Lee,
Smokey!!

Zachary,
Great peat flavor that I love.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength
guest,
Nose is slightly smoky but more like the aroma of bandaids. Taste is more medicinal initially, then finishes with sweeter and pepper notes. Good Islay whiskey although I prefer a little more smoke and earthy flavor.
Laphroaig Select
guest,
Good smokiness

Harvey,
Penny for penny this may be the best "peaty" single malt scotch I have tasted. It is rich with peat, smooth and tasty, front and back. Great buy.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
David,
Extremely smokey and peaty. Most of the other flavors are overpowered.
Laphroaig An Cuan Mor
Derek,
Still experimenting with Islay, but this has been the most tolerable to my naive palate so far. There's smoke and peat, but it's not overbearing. I think whatever drives the tad of sweet and salty is what helps me out.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Peter,
It's like getting up and licking the campfire. Open the bottle and you can smell the peat throughout your whole house. Awesome.
Laphroaig Select
Owen,
I’m a fan of the smoked peat in this
Laphroaig 10 Year Old

Love the peaty smokiness
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Burton,
A fishy briney smoky concoction that somehow works. Thinner on the mouth feel than some competitors. But still worthwhile.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Michael,
Smoky but not as oily as Caol Ila or Ardbeg.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old

Far too peaty. Just not my cup of tea.
Laphroaig Triple Wood
Susanna,
The best Laphroaig I have ever tasted. I would certainly buy another Bottle of this. It was really worth tasting. The taste was not as distinct as in the original one, it was better.
Laphroaig 10 Year Old
Todd,
Aroma has peat and smoke, along with licorice or something similar. You get the peat, earthy, smokey, along with oak and some spice. Very flavorful overall, and it takes some getting used to - but worth the effort to do so. A dash of water smooths things out quite nicely, and might be a good way to drink this. I've had this before, but I generally prefer the similarly priced Ardbeg 10 and Lagavulin 8 over the Laphroaig 10. It's a good one to keep around on the liquor shelf as people that love it *really* love it.
