An incredible new release from Laphroaig. This was originally launched for the duty free market, and it is a tour de force from the Islay distillery. First off, they mature this in bourbon barrels, before transfer into quarter casks, and a third maturation in Oloroso sherry European oak butts. Astonishing with oodles of peat smoke and sweetness.

Flavor Spiral TM
About the Flavor Spiral
What does Laphroaig Triple taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Laphroaig Triple and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Whisky or Whiskey? The spelling differs geographically. In Scotland, Japan, and some other parts of the world, distilleries usually spell it Whisky; in Ireland and the USA, they spell it Whiskey.
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
Laphroaig was the only 'legal' Whisky to be sold in the US during Prohibition. Officials were persuaded that Laphroaig Whisky could be used for medical purposes, since it had a strong iodine character.
Maker's Mark is Laphroaig's main source for barrels.
Whisky distilling goes way back to 1494 when the first recorded batch was made by a posse of monks who acquired about 60 gallons of barley and decided to turn it into "aqua vitae". They created the first 1,500 bottles of Scotch in History.
