— Well damn. This is my first time trying Absinthe. I don't like licorice flavor. But for 68% alcohol... This is the best drink ever. Especially when you prepare it the correct way with the sugar cube and ice water. I am a huge fan.

John
John,
Tasty, strong, pleasant. Strong, pure anise flavor. Excellent prepared in the traditional method and used to wash a glass for your next Sazerac.

AJ
AJ,
Very tasty and I really enjoyed sipping on this. Wonderful aroma and a enlightened thrill for the tongue.

Matthew,
Wow.... this is very flavorful. And a whole different feeling than just drunk. Euphoric almost. Felt warm and relaxed. Would not suggest straight. Either with cold water and sugar cubes or champagne. If you think your going to drink a lot of this you won’t make it. 2-3 drinks is plenty.

Charlotte
Charlotte,
The scent is straight up anise, black licorice. I am not a fan of that flavor at all. I dropped 3 parts ice cold water over 2 sugar cubes into 1 part La Muse with the attached absinthe spoon. Then stirred. It went from a clear grass green to a milky greenish yellow color. The flavor is nothing but anise. After 3 small sips my tongue went numb from the strength of the anise. It’s very smooth, but very stout. After the 3 small sips I was already feeling the alcohol. I recommend this one, but in very small doses! It would have all stars if I was more of an anise lover.

Sean
Sean,
Knew it would be licorice flavor but thought it would be slight. It is overpowering. If you like black licorice get this. If you don't yuck.

John
John,
Strong aroma/taste of Licorice, overwhelming at first. Smooth and sweet taste that lingers long after drinking.

Chris
Chris,
Licorice and lemon peel were noted. I’m not very savvy when it comes to exotic things like lamb spleen, so I if it’s in there too, I don’t know what it tastes like to notice
