Zesty and malty with red-berry underneath and sherry flavor throughout.

Nolan
Nolan,
Good, but not as smooth as I’d like. Strong vanilla hints to me. I’d probably like it for mixing but not by itself.

Andrew
Andrew,
smooth; tasted Irish

Michele
Michele,
Sweet with just a hint of spice

Antti
Antti,
It is a very good, complex, Pure Malt Whisky that has a delicate birth; while a complex life leads to a tart death of medium length.

Brendan
Brendan,
Light nose, with the sherry certainly coming through. This whisky lives up to being called "sherry cask", but if are aren't a big fan of sherry then this isn't for you. Not my cup of tea.

Lou
Lou,
Had this drink on ice. Flavor was un-remarkable with a harsh finish.

Matthew
Matthew,
Like it, don’t love it.

Marguerite
Marguerite,
Good, zest and herb aroma, but not worth $100

Ryan
Ryan,
Okay

John
John,
It’s interesting. Spiral says herbs it seems floral to me. Then that drops off and stays with a burn.

Stefanie
Stefanie,
This surprised me as I do not like citrus or "mild" whiskey. Refreshing. Almost spring summer feeling in scent and taste. Definitely get that mineral and herbal scent. Not too sweet.

Todd
Todd,
Sherry prevalent. Citrus. Sweet overall.

Liz
Liz,
Neat, we hated it. Malted vinegar. On ice, it was more palatable.

Stephen
Stephen,
Surprisingly balanced whisky. The sherry is definitely noticeable, and from the smell I was not expecting to like it. But the flavor profile is milder than expected and rounds out nicely with mild fruitiness.

Angela
Angela,
Nothing special. Sherry forward and mellow

Zachary
Zachary,
Forgettable and weird finish

Jeff
Jeff,
Good mouth feel. Citrus/grassy taste lingers a little too long. Sweet finish. Very good sipping whisky

Ryan
Ryan,
Very much enjoyed this but had a hard time pinning down the flavors. I felt the Sherry was subtle but like the descriptor zesty in the flavor spiral. This was young and bright but smooth despite its youth. Fruity, gently sweet, but most of all “zesty.”

Burton
Burton,
Fruit and vanilla with a bit of bite. Unique quality that comes across as Apple cider to me. Feels higher in alcohol content than it is. It is good. Worth a look of you are expanding into Japanese whisky.

Matthew
Matthew,
Color is a light amber. Nose is strong with citrus, honey, and berries radiating from the glass. Vanilla and malt are found past the initial wave. First sip is almost zesty, with a milt tingle amidst some maltiness. Mouthfeel is smooth, not thin or viscous. Further sips reveal a subtle berry note, as well as some grassy notes. Finish is a wave of acidity that leaves the tongue with a lemon like flavor, but without the freshness of fresh lemon. Overall, the nose is great, but the palate and finish leave plenty to be desired.

Cyrus
Cyrus,
Sweet up front and quick dry and a little sour rose finish at the end. Overall, very pleasant, easy drinking Japanese whiskey. Would recommend.

Foster
Foster,
Little too sweet for my tasting but a quality Japanese whisky

Dustin

Really smooth start and finish and crazy caramel notes. I use this as a desert pairing.

Nice balance of sweetness. Robust mouth feel. A little zing on the back.
