― Pleasing notes. Sweet on the front, spicy, pepper and cinnamon in the middle and leather/cigar on the back end. Great legs and a lingering finish. I really like this whisky!
― Fruit, sour apple on the nose - a faint acetone? With most Japanese whiskys I get a lot of smoke/peat , but with this I get mostly apple/fruity, toffee/caramel flavors and a little heat.
― First sniff has notes of fruit, vanilla and cinnamon. First sip has notes of vanilla, honey, cinnamon and pear. With a spicy grain finish that lingers in the tip of the tongue.
