I've been drinking KNOB for the last 20 years. It's my go-to Bourbon. If you drink enough, the label reads BONK. As in you've been BONKed on the head by this delicious bourbon.

9/10 but pushed to 10/10 due to the amazing value for being a 100 proof that is aged 9 years. An excellent dessert whiskey, I recommend trying with a big piece of ice. Spicy and has a kick in the back of the mouth but starts to open up and sweeten over time with ice. Try it without ice, with ice, then with ice that has melted after 5 minutes or so. You will get tons of mileage out of this.

I really enjoyed this Bourbon, I starting liking the taste of Bourbon when I had a few whiskies that had been blended in Bourbon casks, I thought it really gave the whisky a wee edge to it. I decided to try a Bourbon on it's own & this was available by yourselves, I would recommend this Knob Creek to anyone who has never tried a Bourbon, or like myself have only tried it in a whisky.

Pleasant nose of vanilla, caramel, maple. Sweet and pleasant taste at first but an overwhelming bitterness / burn taste sets in quickly, finish offers some more pleasant nuances but the underlying bitterness doesn't subside and is rather unpleasant to my palate. Not a very well-balanced bourbon. Would not recommend neat.

This is an incredibly smooth bourbon and the cinnamon & clove both really come through nicely without being overly spicy hot. For being slightly higher abv than most straight bourbons, the higher abv really doesn't show itself in the flavor.
