Top reviews for Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye Whiskey:

— Amazing

— A wonderful vanilla and caramel nose with a pallet that packs a punch. Sweet, rich, da re k, and spicy.

— My batch was a Barrel Selection for my local liquor store and wow. I sought something with a punch. It hits hard initially with spice and barrel before easing into gingerbread, brown sugar, cinnamon, and more comforting and sweet spices. Exactly what I want in a rye, unique and powerful enough to hang on the shelf, but not too weird to overstay its welcome.

David,
Very good Rye. I use to dislike Ryes, but have developed a desire for them lately. This one is on point with the notes. But for a few bucks more (depending on demand) I would recommend Basil Hayden's ryes. With that said, I still like this rye and have it on hand.

A big spicy rye with an incredibly long, delicious finish. Pairs perfectly with a cigar.

Dan,
Solid rye, needs a little more spice to compete with OF Rye

Crow
Crow,
This is barely a rye (55% I believe) and its rough. Definitely not my favorite rye.

Craig
Craig,
Really like this Knob Creek Oak, nice aroma to start, small bite smooth finish. Too expensive on your site though.

Just not for me

Curtis
Curtis,
It was good. Not the best rye I’ve had and I prefer their bourbons more (love their bourbons) but I liked that the spice and rye flavors didn’t dominate and the Carmel flavor still showed through really well.

Shaun

Hot and strong. With touch of water, not much better. Finish, long and hot

Dick
Dick,
A great rye but be careful, it will sneak up on you in a Manhattan

Crow
Crow,
Barely a Rye ...low 50%’s. Strong and astringent it has a rough nose. Best on ice or with some water.

Erik
Erik,
Really enjoy the standard Knob Creek rye, so found the barrel strength offering a bit disappointing following the huge price difference

Brandon
Brandon,
Probably my favorite rye next to willett but completely different it's a face punch of flavor balanced with sweetness
