A blend of dark Caribbean Rums from the glam band that changed music history.

Brands for Fans was founded in 2012 by Yvonne Wener and Sari Wilholm — a couple of Rock & Roll fans who wanted to extend the fan experience to Spirits and other lifestyle products. They’ve had a string of hit, creating a string of successful products for global and EU bands and events — Ghost, HammerFall, In Flames, Jonas Åkerlund, Judas Priest, Motörhead, Plura, Rammstein, Scorpions, Slayer, and the Sweden Rock Festival, among others. The Swedish beverage company Umida Group wanted to get in on all the fun, so they acquired the company in 2018, but Yvonne and Sari have stayed on to manage and expand their portfolio.

The original lineup was Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss with the friendly additions of Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer substituting in. This, dear friends, is one of the most famous and successful Rock and Roll bands in history — KISS. If you do not know that, we don’t know what to do with you.

KISS Black Diamond Premium Dark Rum is a collaboration between the band and Brands for Fans. It’s a blend of darks Rums from across the Caribbean aged up to fifteen years.

Smartass Corner:
The name and label design are taken from the final cut of their seminal, self-titled first album — KISS.

If the center of our galaxy had a signature scent, it would be Rum. Yup, astronomers studying a giant cloud in the Milky Way found a substance called ethyl formate, a chemical that smells suspiciously like Rum.
Rum used to be accepted as a form of currency in Europe and Australia, a practice we should probably bring back into fashion.
Mount Gay Rum is the oldest existing Rum company in the World dating back to 1705. This is also the year Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Britain’s Parliament.
