Nose has alcohol with a distinct hint of vanilla behind it.
Flavors are lightly sweet at first, with citrus and peppery notes coming in after. The finish is dry and clean with a hit of lemon peel. Smooth, oily mouth-feel, though not as thick as a potato-based vodka.
Ketel One is honestly a little pricey for my typical vodka choice, as I don't typically drink vodka straight (I happened to catch a sale this time.) However, of all the premium vodkas I've tried it probably comes closest to justifying the extra expense- it's clean without being 'flavorless'. It's my go-to vodka when I'm ordering a vodka martini while out, as that's one cocktail where I think a quality vodka really matters.
