A contemporary Old School Whiskey.

Journeyman Distillery is located in a 19th century corset and buggy whip factory in Three Oaks, Michigan. EK Warren a hardcore prohibitionist in his time founded the company back in 1883 and the building where bottles are distilled, aged and bottled all under one roof hasn’t changed much. At Journeyman they focus on distilling handcrafted, organic Spirits, from Gin, Vodka to all kinds of Whiskeys. As they are located on the northern edge of grain-fed American heartland it is no wonder that Whiskey from all kinds of grain is their largest product category.

Corsets, Whips & Whiskey is a single-grain, cask strength 100% Wheat Whiskey that comes directly from barrel-to-bottle. Named after all the products produced at the historic Featherbone factory building in Three Oaks, MI throughout time; this Whiskey as true tribute to American manufacturing. This limited release Whiskey showcases the high quality and terroir of the organic Michigan wheat used to produce it. The 100% wheat provides a soft sweetness and smoothness to this Whiskey, while the cask strength proof reminds you this isn’t a Whiskey to toil with! Case in point: in 2022 and 2023, this fantastic bottling won back-to-back Whiskey of the Year at the ASCOT Awards.

George Washington was a man of many talents being both a military braniac and the First President of the United States. Interestingly, he also became the largest Whiskey producer in the United States after leaving the politics.
The original owner of the Featherbone factory was a man named E. K. Warren. In addition to making two products (now used in economics classes as the very definition of declining products) — buggy-whips and corsets — Mr. Warren was a die-hard abolitionist.
Moonshine Whiskey is distilled from a varied mix of corn and sugar and is aged in Mason jars and jugs for the length of time it takes the customers to get home.
is the fermentation process by which a percentage of a previous fermentation is added to a new batch as a "starter" to get the fermentation going and maintain a level of consistency from batch to batch. A sweet mash means that only fresh yeast is added to a new batch to start fermentation.
Tennessee Whiskey closely parallels Bourbon, but final filtering through sugar-maple charcoal (called the Lincoln County Process) is what some producers say differentiates them. Tennessee Whiskey’s finish is sweeter and smoother than Bourbon.
Corn Whiskey is a commercial product that must contain at least 80% corn, be distilled at less than 80% ABV (160 proof), and, if wood-aged, may be aged in either used or new un-charred barrels.
