The story of Maestro Tequilero Blanco Classico Tequila is in the Spirit itself.
Don José Antonio de Cuervo was granted a plot of land in Tequila, Jalisco, by the King of Spain in 1758. This is where he and his family founded the Taberna de Cuervo family farm where he planted his first blue agave plants. The first bottles of their signature product were sold in 1795
Cuervo has stayed in family hands for several generations through marriages and inheritance. But the growth has been steady all along. In fact, José Cuervo Tequila controls 35% of the worldwide Tequila market by sales — a full 20% by volume — with one of the broadest lineups in the Tequila-dinking world.
Maestro Tequilero Blanco Classico Tequila is part of a three product set of premium Spirits — Blanco, Resposado, and Añejo — all delivered in smart glass bottles. They’ll all universally acclaimed. And you wouldn’t know that these fine agave Spirits all came from José Cuervo’s La Rojeña Distillery… unless we told you… which we just did.
And we know that the marketing types don’t like us to spill ALL the info, but Cuervo likes to keep this premium juice out on its own. It’s not even listed on their website. But all you need to know right now is that this is some of the best Tequila coming off their stills, it’s 100% blue agave, perfectly made, bottled at 40% ABV, and you can get some … now.
