Join the clubThe smoothest silver Tequila in the Jose Cuervo empire.
Every fifth Tequila bottle sold in the world is made by Jose Cuervo. These guys really go way back with Tequila as Jose Antonio Cuervo was actually the first person to obtain a license to make Tequila from the King Carlos IV in 1795. But even before that, in 1758, another royal figure King Fernand VI was like, here, some land for you to grow agave and maybe see where it goes. Over 250 years of experience means something in the Tequila world (And in other worlds as well.) and it's impressive that the company is still family-owned today after being passed down for generations (And with it, the methods, the recipes, the craftsmanship). The Beckmann family of Mexico are descendants of Don José Antonio de Cuervo and Juan-Domingo Beckmann is the 6th generation leader of the company.
Especial Silver is one of the smoothest Tequilas ever made under the Jose Cuervo brand. As you've probably deducted from the name, this is a 100% Silver Tequila, which means it's not aged in barrels, but rather bottled straight from the stills or left to rest in stainless steel. Made from 100% Blue Agave grown on the family estate in Mexico and double distilled, this is a Silver Tequila at its finest – crisp, clean and smooth with subtle blue agave notes, caramel and fresh herbs. Time to start making those Margaritas.

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Jose Cuervo Especial Silver and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.
We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
