— Loved it

— My nightly drink of choice. Neat, naturally.

Amy
Amy,
Medium peatiness, recommend decanting.

Heidi
Heidi,
I haven't experimented with Scotch much yet. I would have said, prior to this drinking, that I don't like smoky, peaty flavors but this was enjoyable. It was not what I started my evening with though, so will need another trial sometime soon.

Steve
Steve,
Fairly smooth to me, a little more smoky than I expected, which I like. I usually don’t care so much for the blends but I do like this a lot.

Roger

Richard
Richard,
For a blended Scotch this is very enjoyable. Has a little more peat then what I expected. By way of comparison it is not as peaty as Johnny Walker red but I would say it is a notch or two above Dalwhinnie as far as the level of peat. This really shows up on the finish so it is not in your face like Johnny Walker red. I prefer a single malt but if I could not find a good single malt this would do in a pinch. For a blended scotch it is very smooth and you can hold it in your mouth for quite a while to catch all of the nuances of the scotch.

Stefanie
Stefanie,
As I try more i like this less..it is smooth but the honey is way too far forward for me but it isnt particularly sweet. Tastes of straight alcohol. Not the most complex and it gives me the worst hangover. No other whiskey gives me a hangover..at all. I hope that is just the Black label

Richard
Richard,
Not a fan. Johnnie Walker was the first whiskey I ever tried and it put me off whiskey for most of my adult life. Now that I've tried other whiskeys along with different JW editions I can say that its not whiskey that I dislike. It's JW. At the first sip I can only discern vanilla, smoke and maybe some honey... but mostly smoke. There's moderate burn that lingers a bit too long and then there's more smoke. The final insult is a styrofoam finish. Not sure why Johnny Walker enjoys such a grand reputation. Every bottle I've tried tastes the same. Maybe there is something I'm missing? Or maybe I just have no idea what I'm talking about.

Jeff

Horrible. Has a chemical taste.

Jessica
Jessica,
I think this drink isn't for me, but more of it not being enough punch. Wasn't the smoothest either.

Ian
Ian,
good to get whenever there are no other alternatives, little bit of smoke on the front end but finishes sweet - not my go to, but great in a pinch

John
John,
Smokey, spicy, peppery and with a bite. Surprised to have like this as much as I did for a big brand like J. Walker.

Strong but somewhat pleasing. A touch of water brings out its best.

Brittany
Brittany,
Same as JW Black.

Devin
Devin,
Amber, almost blond color. The tears are thin, spaced out and slow. The nose is smokey with hints of apple, honey and vanilla. The taste has hints of cinammon and apple with a very slight smokey finish, like having just finished a cigar. A few drops of water exposes some underlying vanilla notes. It's good, but not as complex as I would hope for a scotch.

Gabriel
Gabriel,
What else is there to say? Black Label, my go-to everyday scotch, and they release a version with a good cause? Take my money!

Wayne

Gilbert
Gilbert,
Starting to really enjoy this blended scotch. Very smooth and just a bit of smoke - - - not overpowering at all! May be a challenger to some single malts!

Nathan
Nathan,
Slightly smoky and very smooth with a small bite at the end. Jane is a looker.
