A delightful amalgam of Kentucky tradition, Californian sunshine, and French spirit.

When we talk about this bottle, we talk about mixing and ameliorating delicious ingredients. First, you need a band of crafters from Kentucky who go by the name Kentucky Artisan Distillery, who through a wonderful art of Whiskey sorcery produce a pre-prohibition style Bourbon. Then you get yourself a blender founded by a Bourbon historian and a Master Distiller (Jefferson Bourbon's Chet and Trey Zoeller) and let them do their thing, which is taking high quality Whiskeys and exposing them to extreme conditions (i.e. putting them on a ship at sea or secluding them on a mountain). What you get is a powerhouse of experience, innovation and passion.

Now, this bottle is as American as an eagle sitting in a monster truck that is strapped on a rocket flying to Mars. It’s a beast made of three elegant Bourbons that were aged in new American oak barrels and finished in French oak casks that used to be inhabited by Cabernet Sauvignon (or Cab-Sav, as cool people call it). Those casks were then put on rocky slopes of Napa Valley in California, where they were definitely surrounded by eagles.

Raymond Chandler said there is no bad Whiskey, just Whiskeys that aren’t as good as others. If he tried the deep and rich blend of Jefferson’s Reserve where the sweetness of the Bourbon is complemented by the spicy French oak and haunted by the spectral hint of vinaceous aroma, his Philip Marlowe wouldn’t drink gimlets, but this twin-wood-aged tri-Whiskey Kentucky Straight Bourbon blend.
