Top reviews for Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition:
— I always go back to this one. It has all the deliciousness of the classic Jameson but a light, refreshing lift which gives it a brighter taste. Delicious... Nuff said... Go get it!
— Is there any other than "Irish".
— Smooth. Can taste the hops then herbs and a little spice. Sweet at the end
Softer to the pallet than regular Jameson. I personally enjoy it as an evening sipping whiskey during summers
Justin,
Deliciously smooth and tasty

guest,
Not impressed original is better
Scott,
Is there any other than "Irish".
Bryan,
Tasty
Daniel,
I love my whiskey and I love my IPAs!!
James,
Love the taste, but my pallet was not equal to tasting a difference between single cask and regular blend
Amber,
Sweet, citrus, floral, hops
Jenna,
Whiskies and IPAs are two strong, complex flavors. Though I am a big fan of both, I thought that they butted heads in this bottle, in a way in which you can't appreciate either. I prefer standard Jameson.
Seth,
Won a bottle at a golf tournament. Shared it with the guys on a cabin trip. Not a huge Jameson fan or a huge IPA fan, so pretty much the result I expected. If both are your forte, may be worth giving/sipping a shot.
Gary,
Good Irish wisky.
Lawrence,
Still Jameson but different. Vanilla. Oily. Slight hops. Citrus lemon. Green apple. Honeysuckle. Smooth.
Charles,
Nice, decent upgrade from regular Jameson. If you're going to drink this, stick with it, or at a party this will do well. However, taken side by side with a peaty scotch it comes across as unintresting.
C,
I really liked the subtle oak and beer flavour to this Irish Whiskey!
Edward,
A great infusion of beer flavor in my Irish whiskey.
Byron,
The ol hops just lingers and takes too much away from the original flavor profile
Owen,
Tasty
demoia,
Fantastically smooth and a wonderful finish
Rick,
Very smooth!
KEITH,
Much smoother then I thought. Very nice finish. I like it better then regular Jameson.
Samuel,
Thought I would hate this, but it is much smoother and easier to drink than regular Jameson
Luke,
Nose: light honey and floral scents, fairly hoppy
Taste: sweet, complex floral flavors, some citrus, strong vanilla, some lingering bitterness, oily feel, not much of a finish to speak of
Robert,
No discernable difference to me between this and the regular Jameson.
Tim,
I like where Jameson is trying to go, I’m just not sure of the route they are taking. This is a fine bottle but leaves the consumer with a sense of standing on a precipice of something great but just not quite able to get there. The natural green fruit flavor common to Irish Whiskey is accented well by the citrus notes from the IPA cast but the similarities lead to a fairly singular experience. In comparison, the Stout barrel edition adds a greater depth that personally I find more appealing. Cheers
Rick,
Not bad, very drinkable
Brett,
First Irish but delicious
Chris,
A smoother taste than what you typically have with whiskey. It’s definitely still has an edge to it compared to good bourbons. Can’t get the smell, but the taste comments are right on.
Michael,
Love the combination of whisky and hops. You definitely get the great herbal/floral hop notes on this, but they are subdued and smoothed out (in a good way) by the whisky itself. Very intriguing combination that i would like to see more of.
Angela,
I don’t prefer my whiskey to have any hoppy notes.
Alex,
Very smooth flavor despite its young age
James,
Jameson but not as good, it was free, will drink but never buy.
guest,
Burns the nostrils. Catch the hops at the end with a little inhale
Conde,
Very tasty. The hops really add a great taste to the whiskey.
Brittany,
Easy sipping and easy on the wallet
Matt,
I don’t like bitter and IPAs but on the rocks this was clean and smooth. Not much aroma.
Carmine,
I love this stuff!
Janine,
It's alright in flavor, not my cup of tea and definitely smooth.
Angela,
Like it. Bourbon notes
Todd,
Interesting, different flavor. But that doesn't make it great.
Terrance,
🤢
alexey,
Spice, fruit and vanilla. Pleasant but not special
Kevin,
I love the stout caskmates but this is not good
Matthew,
Solid flavor. Not quite as smooth as other Jameson’s
guest,
Smooth love it
Jim,
Very smooth in the Jameson tradition. Light flavor with a bit of sweetness and a delightfully complex flavor profile.
Peter,
Definitely a Jameson with a unique hoppy twist. The triple distillation makes this smooth. Floral and herbal finish. If you like Jameson this is a good one to add to your bar.
Meg,
Loved the familiar flavors anhanced by some new brew-based ones!
Ryan,
Typically smooth but with sweet notes of apple, spice and hops. Will definitely keep this one stocked.
Matthew,
I think regular Jameson is better / I don’t care for the smoky taste of this IPA cask brew - it feels gimmicky and the taste is off point
Meg,
Deliciously hoppy with the known-comfort of Jameson flavors.
Cleo,
I loved the smoothness of this. I did taste hints of caramel and the finish was silky.
John,
Very very smooth
Juan,
Sweet.
guest,
A mellowed out variant of Jameson. I enjoyed the flavor. Hint of citrus on the finish.
Jamie,
Weaker and less flavorful than the regular Caskmates.
Matt,
Very smooth but lacks complexity.
Kevin,
Lots of sweetness upfront (but not overwhelming,) gives way to a nice dryness that I would associate with an IPA. Super smooth throughout.
