If this were put into a category of “every day” whiskeys, it would have received a 10 star rating. Hands down my favorite for daily use but had to get it a 7 with such stiff competition.

For this money I will always prefer a young and cheap SM or better: spend € 5-10 more and you'll get a real 10-12 yrs SM like Glenmorangie, Laphroaig or Old Pulteney in (sale).

Joe

Has no depth of flavor. Just plain don't like it.

guest
guest,
Posted rating kinda low. This was the first whiskey I ever consumed and being so I didn't treat it with respect so it hurt me. For two days it hurt me and the thin air on top of the Rocky Mountains didn't help this flat lander much either...., needless to say I was young. That was 36 years ago. Under different circumstances in life this whiskey does have flavor and aroma that could be pleasing but one whiff still brings the wild urps near.

Ben

If it's good enough for Frank Sinatra, it's good enough to me!
