Member Reviews and Ratings of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel
Surprisingly good at Barrel Proof. Nose and palette show Caramel drizzled banana bread.
My go to. I love it.
Smooth. Nothing special
Smooth, hint of brown sugar
My favorite JD. Just below a basic Jameson. Hits the spot when you’re not sure what you want. Not harsh and good balanced flavor
What can I say. It's jack Daniels.. But smooth. Not unlike gentleman jack. More fuller flavour than gentleman jack though
Sehr intensive Nase (Eiche), holziger, sehr satter & voller Geschmack
Noch der beste der Jack Daniels Serie, wenn auch nur in Maßen genießbar weil sehr intensiv
Good overall aroma. Hints of sugar/maple scent are apparent. Many earthy tones. Some other scents such as vanilla are apparent. Decent flavor, still has some of the JD bite. It’s not quite as smooth as some of the other bottles JD makes.
Pretty good but nothing to get too excited about. Easy to find as well.
As a loyal JD man, the single barrel burbon is disappointing.
Can taste almost every flavor on the flavor spiral. Spicy, woody taste hits big, with a surprisingly mild and sweet finish that lingers in the back of your throat.
Like the original but more kick
Very spicy. Surprised that it was not smoother. Had pretty good taste but burned all the way to the belly.
Not a big Jack fan did enjoy this
Definitely smooth, but I wanted it to have more complex flavors. Tried straight but maybe next time with a bit of water.
Good whiskey. I like something a little lighter on the front.
Not as sweet as regular JD but much more complex. Remember, every bottle is a bit different.
Good for both sipping and mixing
Very beautiful taste. One ice cube 3 fingers and boom the best tasting sipper ever. Nice punch and nice and Smokey.
Perfect in every way imaginable.
Old favorite of mine
Very good taste and smell, a bit thick and overpowering to drink without a bit of water or ice.
Makes me think of a bonfire up north. Love it.
Good. I didn't expect to like it but very smooth for JD.
Oak, lot's of Oak combined with sweetness. Not much of depth, but it has characer and smoothness. Power, taste and simplicity in a good way. Value for money, but still I prefer the cheaper SB of Four Roses.
Great nose and taste. Sweet (honey, vanilla) with just enough heat (not similar to rye but close). Other notes of leather and pepper. Wonderful offering from Jack Daniel's.
Meh. Solid but not great.
Good flavor profile, this bottle will go quickly.
Very smooth! So smooth in fact you will find your glass finished before you know it!
