The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Gentleman Jack and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.
We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
This and coke are a perfect combination very smooth and easy to drink
Kathleen,
Love it
Evin,
It's Gentlemen Jack. I pout this for friends who come over who won't drink anything by JD. I don't usually pour it for myself.
Daniel,
Smooth.
Jeff,
Another go to for me
Christopher,
Smooth, but doesn't have much character.
Jeff,
I never liked Jack, but this one... yea they finally have a bourbon worth drinking, or rather, sipping and enjoying.
Johnathan,
Good, nothing special
Brian,
Very smooth, great taste
Daniel,
Smooth and great!
Luther,
Smooth and great flavor with a nice low price tag.
Sean,
Very, very smooth! Really good mellow flavor. Will definitely buy again
Tyrone,
Gentlemen Jack is a very smooth and tasty whiskey
Ray,
Easy sipping’
Michael,
A great “everyday” bourbon. Smoother than Regular Jack...and quite tasty for the price.
Arthur,
This is a smooth drink certainly a few steps above regular Jack that I have enjoyed previously. But having enjoyed the Gentleman I'm probably not going back to Regular Jack at any time.
Dean,
Great for on the rocks. Would not recommend mixing with Coke.
Cole,
Very smooth.
David,
Can’t really taste the difference between gentlemen or regular jack.
Jack,
Smooth and tasty.
Albert,
If you are going to buy Jack Daniel's, spend a little extra and get Gentleman Jack. It tastes a lot smoother. I can drink this on the rocks, or with a little coca-cola.
Craig,
Smooth and flavorful. Love it
Tyler,
Smooth
Jon,
Great, smooth and high quality!
Jeffrey,
Gentleman jack was the original smooth of smooth for me, it's what turned me on to sipping whiskey. Tasting notes- sweet with a hint of caramel on the front end, rich oak flavor with a bit of apricot as it slides down like Ice and the smallest sniff of spice on the back end. All in all it was my go to whiskey for years, and all though I have expanded my palette it is still a pleasure to keep a bottle in my collection and taste my roots.
David,
Always good, nice to sip,
Tyson,
For mixing
Dalton,
Very similar to the Old No. 7, but mutes everything about it. Definitely smoother, but personally not worth the extra money.
Laura,
Good, easily accessible
Paul,
Smooth and enjoyable. Very nice!
Taylor,
Very smooth.
Peter,
My Relaxing time whisky or with a nice dinner
Ray,
Smooooooooth!!!!
Gus,
Great taste and very smooth because of their double mellowing process.
David,
My "Go to" drink.
Tony,
Pleasant, vanilla and honey nose and similar initial taste. Switches to caramel midway, and then quickly into a spicy rye towards the back of the tongue and finish. Less harsh than #7 and can be sipped on its own. As has been mentioned in other reviews, water further mellows the pepper into an oak flavor. One of the few whiskeys I prefer on the rocks for said flavor.
Kent,
Good, but not great. I usually use it as a mixer because its not quite to the quality of sipping.
Brian,
Nothing like Jack original. Smooth and delicious.
JON,
Smooth and consistent all the way down
Lee,
Harsh, not a great mixer either
Seth,
Not a huge fun. Maybe better as a mix.?
David,
Decent when chilled
Rob,
Love it
Chris,
Smooth and strong. Good flavor
guest,
On the nose I got a lot of ripe banana with some vanilla. Taste is initially sweet brown sugar and banana pudding (other reviewer’s observation-spot on), but gives way to rye spice. Adding water brought out a lot more oak and some slight bitterness.
Kristopher,
One of my new favorites
Remco,
Nice and smooth
guest,
Awesome
James,
So smooth and at a fairly decent price point. I have tried dozens of different bourbons and whiskeys over the last year and this is still one of my favorites!
Michael,
Pretty good actually
Jason,
Good flavor
Brett,
Smooth. Surprisingly good.
Robert,
Smooth and yummy. Easy going down. Not too complex, just a nice sipping whiskey.
guest,
Reife, saftige Früchte in der Nase, voller, saftiger Geschmack auf der Zunge; etwas bitter im Abgang
Wien, 07/19
Justin,
Smells and taste like banana pudding. Smooth and a slightly warm finish.
Owen,
Is he really a gentleman?
Rebekah,
Great
James,
Eh
Michael,
sweet and really smooth.
Jason,
Serious smooth whiskey which pairs well with said, water or just by itself.
Matt,
Smooth. Let it mellow on the rocks for a few minutes and the character really came out
Daniel,
This is something more like what I would drink on the rocks. Not just good for shots or mixing.
Christian,
A nice upgrade to the standard bottle of Jack!
guest,
Very smooth, great on the rocks.
Danny,
A little too sweet for my liking. Strong notes of banana pudding.
Jon,
Smooth
Robert,
Really just a small step above JDs Tennessee whiskey.
Charles,
The only one of their products that I actually like. Maybe because it is more like a bourbon.
Mitch,
Not bad
guest,
Strong lasting taste.
Derek,
Decent
William,
Smooth
guest,
it's ok
guest,
Tastes like it has been strained through banana peels; not a fan.
Alec,
Vanilla and cake flavoring but not as smooth as I would desire. Probably a great mixer but not ideal alone.
Tony,
More mellow than the old no.7 brand. Overall very enjoyable.
David,
More sweet than anything else. Better for mixing than enjoying alone.
guest,
Exemplifies fine Tennessee whiskey. The sweetness is complemented by smoothness and a finish that I hesitate to call smoky, but certainly has a depth. Worth the bottle, but won't buy again; better options exist in the same price range.
John,
Gf loves it. I enjoy it. Not the greatest. But great for the price.
guest,
Very smooth and easy to drink. My favourite bourbon by far
guest,
Smooth and very enjoyable. Hard to go back to standard JD. Although Winter Jack is as appealing to me as a casual drink.
guest,
Sweet, overwhelming bourbon whisky with overdose of caramel and slight hint of cherries
