Back in 1857, when Canada wasn’t even Canada yet, John Phillip (J.P.) Wiser was already hard at work perfecting the art of Whisky-making in Prescott, Ontario. His dedication to quality ingredients and patient aging paid off big time, with his deliciously smooth and satisfying Spirits earning him fans all over the world. And while some may rush to the finish line, Wiser knew that when it comes to Whisky, slow and steady wins the race. As he famously put it, “Horses should hurry, but Whisky must take its time.” Smart man. Even after his passing, the legacy lived on through his beloved brand, which eventually found a partner in Hiram Walker. Today, J.P. Wiser's Whisky continues to be distilled and bottled with the same care and attention to detail at the Hiram-Walker & Sons distillery in Windsor, Ontario.

J.P. Wiser's Triple Barrel Rye Whisky is one smooth-tasting Spirit. It lures you in with a delightful dance between caramel and vanilla, with toasted grains and oak notes joining in for the grand finale. And, it has quite a diverse background — it underwent not one, not two, but three barrel aging processes, featuring used Canadian Whisky, first-fill Bourbon, and virgin oak casks. So sip it on the rocks, mix it into a cocktail, or enjoy it straight up — seriously, whatever you do, it’s bound to taste good.
