Inicio, which means "the beginning" is a family business minutes away from the town where Tequila was born — and yes, the town is called Tequila. Gildardo Partida and Leticia Hermosillo come from a family with three generations of Tequila distillers. And together with the knowledge of their ancestors, and the long Mexican tradition, they decided to take the Spirit production further.
What Tequila — or more specifically, the blue agave plant — needs, is a lot of sun. (Hence the sunny-looking O in the name.) That's the reason why you don't see any Tequila distilleries in Finland. Now, the beautiful plains of El Arenal smack in between Tequila and Guadalajara, they get plenty of sunshine. Agave, by the way, needs almost three thousand sunny days before it's ready to be harvested. It's a high maintenance beauty. Before you mention the utterly metal logo, let me assure you: it's background is equally badass. The angry lad dressed as a bird is actually the Eagle Knight, a member of a warrior order of the Aztec Empire. And the same way those warriors soared, Inicio Tequila is ready to fly high.
Inicio Blanco Tequila is 100% Agave Azul, and if you watched Breaking Bad, you know "azul" is blue. Blue Agave is a sacred plant around the town of Tequila and El Arenal for it's the base ingredient of the original Tequila. After this crystalline aristocrat is distilled, the producers let is settle and finish for a couple of weeks in stainless steel tanks. The know-how of the jimadores (the men who harvest the agave plant), their hard work, perseverance and passion is evident in this gentle Spirit. The unadulterated flavor of the Blue Agave is sweet, and its aroma is unmistakable.
The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Inicio Tequila Blanco and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.
We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

If the Tequila bottle label does not state that it’s manufactured from 100% Blue Agave, then, by default, that Tequila is a Mixto (manufactured from 51% Blue Agave).
Very sweet. Would need it in a drink that balances it well. Not for sipping.
Susanna,
This was indeed a very good tequila, even though I am not a great fan. It was surprisingly good, I might well try another Bottle.
Mike,
Simply perfect!
Matthew,
Very sweet! Smooth, definitely meant for cocktails with a strong sour or bitter base. I'd like to infuse some jalapeno to see how it blends spicy with sweet.
Linus,
Very sweet but still a pleasant flavor profile.
Brendan,
Excessively sweet!
Brian,
Was pleasantly surprised - not a big blanco fan but.... this really worked - floral notes and smooth finish a little harsh on the side of the tongue(which is nice), and no cheat burn - I could sip this at night
Rich,
Smooth and can definitely taste the sweet. Earthy and oak at first, finish was definitely sweet.
Justin,
Very flavorful!
Joshua,
Sweet. Smooth. I’ve never tasted a tequila like it. Tastes very much like blue cotton candy.

Daniel,
Surprisingly good and tangy! Smoother than a blanco should be!
Brent,
Just barely too sweet for me, but a very good Blanco overall. Notes of citrus and agave on the nose. Upon first sip, a punch of sweetness followed by a touch of earthiness.
Brian,
A very good blanco, too sweet for me. Loses flavour with ice or in cocktails.
Jennifer,
Most delicious! Smooth, sweet, more complex and nuanced than anticipated.
Antonio,

Very nice smooth enjoyable sipping tequila
Brandon,
Delicious. It smells and tastes just like a margarita. Just add a lime. You can smell and taste the lime and subtle coconut flavor. Not harsh and no burn. Tastes great neat or just add a couple ice cubes. Definitely need to find a bottle.
Frederick,
Love it! Hands down the best Blanco tequila that I have had. Tremendous! Smooth and great tasting.
Ashley,
Extremely smooth!
Andrew,
Smooth and sweet. Easy to drink.
Kristyn,
Smooth and great taste
Michael,
Strong agave on the nose, along with almost tropical fruitiness behind. Flavors are sweet -very, very sweet- up front, like fresh berries in syrup. The sweetness sticks to the palate until the earthier agave flavors join in for some balance. The finish is very mild and clean with agave, a hint of spice, and (you guessed it) sweetness. This is clearly a very well- made spirit, with not a hint of harshness of low- quality frat-party tequila in sight. However it is a fair bit too sweet for my palate, at least as a neat sip.
Brian,
Sweet and agave forward
Elisabeth,
Very smooth!
Michael,
Beautiful flavor and great mouth feel. Maybe a torch sweet but worth it.

It is an outstanding, creamy, agave liqueur with a sweet birth, while a creamy & dry life, leads to a delicate & tangy finish.

Absolutely delicious! It's my new go-to.

So smooth and sweet even my wife, a sworn hater of tequila, is dying to find where we can buy a bottle or few.
