The first official 10-year bottling couldn’t arrive at a better time. In November 2020, the world’s Spirit needed to be lifted and leave it to the 9 employees of Chichibu’s distillery to get the job done.

Precisely, authentically, and in small batches. There were only 5000 bottles of this single cask delicacy released, but the good news is that this is shaping up to be a part of their regular selection.

It's not uncommon for Japanese Whisky to be aged in mizunara (Japanese oak) casks. Suntory conducted a research on how mizunara oak influences Whisky flavor and found out it adds coconut notes to it.
