Chris
Chris,
Very solid, I'm not a big smoky fan so this was a nice change for what I've tried so far.

Lisa
Lisa,
Smoky on the nose makes it taste more smoky than it is. Unfortunately that ruined it for us.

Ted
Ted,
I enjoyed this, and would purchase a bottle if it became available.

Antti
Antti,
It is a very good, intense, Blended Scotch Whisky that has a smoky birth; while a warm & oceanic life leads to a long death at sea with notes of seaweed & citrus.

Doron
Doron,
Smooth and full bodied

Matthew
Matthew,
Color is a light straw. Nose is peat smoke, with mild notes of saltiness. First sip is salty and peaty, with peat spice and a brief flash of fruit and vanilla following. Earthy/briny flavors are the lasting flavor in the finish, though it all blends together in a cohesive flavor profile. Mouthfeel is smooth, though maybe a little thin. Overall, a nice peaty flavor, but not enough other flavor notes to standout.

Matthew

dances on the tongue, lovely smokiness

Stephen
Stephen,
Interesting malt notes, but the chocolate was not noticeable to me. Maybe overall too earthy and not smooth enough.

Todd
Todd,
Ok blend. More earthy. Wouldn’t seek it out but it was fine.

Brendan
Brendan,
Mild to moderate peat, with more peat on the nose. Earthiness is most prevalent when tasting, followed by malt. The seaweed comes in with the aftertaste and on the exhale. Overall I would put this as an average scotch, but is certainly something easy to drink that I would come back to.

Way too smoky

Matt
Matt,
Blech! Tastes like someone dropped a piece of sod in my whisky.

Burton
Burton,
I'm glad I tried a blind sample of this. I would have avoided if i had known it was a blend. I admit it. I was wrong. This is obviously Islay and it competes well with Laphroaig and Ardbeg, which I guessed it was. Nice smoke and fruit. I'm not sure what it costs, but it is worth a look.
