Top reviews for High West Bourye Limited Sighting:

— Spice from the rye balanced with the smooth, sweet bourbon, certainly a must try.

— I keep mine in fridge and drink it neat chilled. Think it is much better that way than with a cube or neat at room temp. It is quite tasty and the spiral flavor is on point.

— Nice but not as good as Tatoosh Rye

Charles
Charles,
Very good flavors but almost a little too smooth for me but overall a good sipper.

Thomas
Thomas,
As a big fan of High West, I expected a bit more out of this one, especially for the price. It’s spicy for sure but not complex enough beyond that. The oak is there hiding behind the spice. I couldn’t get the fruits at all. After my third tasting I added a cube and it opened up the sweetness but at that point, it was like many others I could buy at a lower price point. I’ll surely come back to it when I’m hankering for spicy. Otherwise, I’ll look elsewhere. EDIT: dropped another star. I just didn’t care for it so I tried using it in several cocktails so it wouldn’t rot on my shelf. It is weird but kind of adds some nice texture in a Brooklyn cocktail with dry vermouth instead of sweet.
