Character Goatson

A premium Wheat-based Dutch Vodka that’s smooth on the palate and dazzling to the eyes.

Schiedam is the distilling capital of the Netherlands. It sits just east of Rotterdam along picturesque canals and spinning windmills. It is one of the poster towns of Holland. And they have been making Jenever and other fine Spirits here since the 1700s. Medea Vodka is made here, which is a bit ironic — a Vodka in one of the most modern and high-tech bottles ever made is created in a city that turns back time in nearly every way.

Medea Vodka (pronounced like "media") is a Wheat-based Dutch Vodka that is triple distilled and charcoal filtered for purity. And it is the only Spirit of any kind that comes with a mobile app that allows you to program the bottle to display a custom message in brilliant LEDs. You simply type your message and it scrolls across the front of the bottle like a stock ticker. The effect is striking and they have won numerous awards for their innovative packaging.

Flavor Spiral TM
About the Flavor Spiral
What does Medea Vodka taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Medea Vodka and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Dog Dogson's Smartass corner
Character Dogson
Unlike its boozy brethren Bourbon and Scotch, Vodka can be made anywhere in the world. But it’s Eastern Europe that gets the credit for its birth. Just don’t ask Russia and Poland to get to the bottom of it—both argue that they masterminded the Spirit first.
The average life of a $50 bill in circulation is 55 months before it is replaced due to wear.
You won't impress the bartender by ordering Vodka-soda, but it's a good choice if you want to avoid unecessary sugar intake and make sure you stay hydrated when consuming alcohol.
Even if Herman Jansen produces concentrates for other companies, the final distillation and bottling takes place under its supervision, to ensure that the highest quality remains.
It looks like potato chips and flavored Vodka are two things where the producers unleash their imagination. Bubble gum, fresh cut grass, pumpkin pie, marshmallow, and coconut water hardly begin to describe the many flavors of Vodka.
Vodka can be made anywhere in the world and pretty much of any ingredient that contains starch.

For a potato-based Vodka, 12kg (26.5lbs) potatoes are needed to produce a single bottle.
