The Illest collab.

When it comes to Cognac, Hennessy reigns supreme. With over 250 years of history, it is THE biggest producer of Cognac, supplying almost half of the world's Eau-de-vie. Though it was founded by an Irishman, Richard Hennessy, in 1765, the brand is totally steeped in French culture and history. Like through and through. Made from fermented white grapes from the Cognac region of western France, double distilled and aged in French oak barrels, it's a protected designation of origin, meaning it can only be called Cognac if it adheres to strict production guidelines and comes from the Cognac region. So yeah, we told you. French. They also use a combination of letters to show off the quality and price of the bottled liquid — the most common ones being V.S. (Very Special), V.S.O.P (Very Special Old Pale), and X.O (Extra Old). Once you get used to these abbreviations, choosing the perfect bottle of Hennessy will be but a breeze.

2023, the year when Hennessy V.S steps up its game and hits a cultural jackpot, partying it up with Nas, the grand maestro of hip-hop, to toast five decades of rhyming excellence. Hennessy and Nas go way back, and now they've cooked up a wickedly cool "HenNASsy"—a blend that's got tradition with a dash of contemporary panache. Think smooth vanilla, toasty oak, and a burst of fruity vibes poppin' and locking. Hennessy's aging and blending expertise shines through in every silky sip, proving they're in a league of their own. And let's not forget the killer bottle, decked out with wicked details and Nas' signature, making it an absolute gem for collectors.
